Responsibility
- execute carpentry tasks with precision, including framing, flooring, and cabinetry
- perform a variety of multi-trade duties including plumbing, electrical, and general maintenance
- interpret and follow blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans
- conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues and provide solutions
- ensure all work complies with relevant health and safety regulations and company standards
- assist in the planning and scheduling of maintenance activities to minimise disruption
- manage materials and inventory effectively to reduce waste and optimise resources
Requirements
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Carpentry or equivalent qualification in building trades
- proven experience as a carpenter or multi-trade technician
- strong understanding of construction methods and safety regulations
- ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team
- excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- valid driving license and ability to travel to various work sites
- strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude
- 15 mile radius to either Faversham, Kent or Gravesend, Kent
