Responsibility

perform daily ambulatory geospatial data collection using handheld and static scanning devices
conduct 3D laser scanning at various transport and public locations
calibrate and validate mobile navigation systems and applications
assist in system test setups, demo environments, and trial deployments
deliver feedback from field tests to technical and product teams
contribute ideas to improve processes and data quality
maintain clear documentation of fieldwork and system interactions
provide support across departments as needed, including in-field testing and training

Requirements

1–3 years’ experience in geospatial data collection or mobile app testing
background in Geography, GIS, Surveying, Engineering, or similar fields
familiarity with mapping, localization, and routing systems
experience with testing tools, test scenarios, and app validation methods
knowledge of navigation platforms such as Google Maps, Apple Maps, Citymapper, etc
bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field
proven experience in GIS and CAD applications
degree or certification in GIS, Geomatics, Surveying, Engineering, or a related field
