  • generalist HR position supporting our Crown Farms, Crown Milling and Wayland Farms teams
  • hands on role supporting Managers with range of HR topics, including employee relations , employee engagement and managing performance
  • reporting HR KPIs, identifying trends and proactively influencing these to improve upon targets
  • drive and be part of people initiatives to improve upon employee engagement and communication
  • human resources: 1 year
  • provide HR guidance, support and coaching to our Supervisors and Managers covering all stages of the employee lifecycle, from attraction and recruitment through to development as well as exit

Requirements

  • you will be actively involved with all areas of the pig breeding unit in order to meet the business requirements
  • feeding, moving and handling the pigs as well as stock counts and regular communication with the office and senior Managers
  • you will be responsible for managing the staff on the unit and ensuring the condition of the livestock is maintained at a high standard
  • you will be responsible for managing the performance of the unit and reporting targets and maintain commercial focus while providing direction to the team

  • the day to day duties of this role include but are not limited to feeding, moving and handling the pigs as well as stock counts and regular communication with the office

Responsibility

  • you will be actively involved with all areas of the pig rearing cycle
  • you will be based on our Breeding Unit
  • on a day to day basis this includes feeding, moving, and handling the pigs
  • you will also maintain the condition and appearance of the farming unit

  • to be self-motivated, flexible and a great team player
  • our farms consist of teams 3-5 people, therefore you have got to be reliable and demonstrate good time keeping

  • monday to Friday with occasional weekend work

  • handle administration/general queries from employees covering all stages of the employee lifecycle

  • to Maintain and expand the company’s indoor and outdoor pig units, this includes but is not limited to - Brick & Blockwork; Shuttering Carpentry ; Groundworks; Plumbing; Welding; Fitting; Basic fabrication; Forklift, Teleporter &Tractor Driving
