Responsibility

  • set up, operate and control production machinery in accordance with appropriate process conditions
  • maintain necessary documentation including shift report, process logs, quality check sheets and other records as required
  • basic tooling work on hot and cold production processes
  • trouble shooting across the hot and cold production processes
  • autonomous maintenance on all hot and cold production processes
  • basic fault finding and troubleshooting on all hot and cold production processes
  • mentor Apprentices and assistants within the Extrusion / Moulding departments
  • ensure that the product remains within quality control specifications by sampling product, testing product and making suitable and appropriate process adjustments when required
