coordinate and manage a project from contract award right through to handover
develop project programmes, monitor progress and report to client and Watt Energy Saver Directors
procure subcontract labour, materials and ancillary items
set up contracts with the supply chain, negotiate terms
preparation and monitoring of project budgets and control overspending
liaise with DNO to manage G98/G99/G100 applications for connections
ensure PV installations are completed by subcontractors within the programme schedule and budgets as per contract
confident delivery of briefing and coordinating activities on contracts
Requirements
minimum 5 years construction project management
1 years Solar PV experience advantageous
18th Edition Electrical Regulations Qualification would be advantageous
NVQ or City & Guilds in electrical installation would be advantageous
ability to read and understand electrical designs from specifications and surveys
SMSTS
the ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management and electrical works and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in delivering electrical projects
must understand site H&S requirements and demonstrate understanding of current legislation & regulations
