previous experience of carrying out safety inspections and preventative maintenance on trailers
being a team player who can also work under their own initiative and with minimal supervision
an HGV 2 licence
some formal training in HGV engineering, e.g. NVQ, apprenticeship
neat, competent welding and basic fabrication skills
thorough knowledge of HGV MOT standards and requirements

Responsibility

ensuring associated paperwork is completed to ensure that all statistics and legal information are produced, including updates to our dedicated workshop computer system as required
