Working hours
- full-time
Responsibility
- working with the Head Gardener and Gardening Team to maintain the gardens to an agreed style and high standard
- mowing of lawns with pedestrian and ride-on machinery
- use of hand tools and machinery including hedge-cutters, strimmers and blowers
- help to develop new areas of the garden from design to completion
- have a willingness to undertake a wider range of other duties as required by the estate
- maintain all aspects of the gardens across the estate which includes lawns, flowerbeds, pathways, hedge-cutting, tree avenues, fruit trees, container planting, watering and rental property maintenance
Requirements
- full driving license
- practical horticulture and Grounds Maintenance
- A horticultural qualification or a minimum of 2 years relevant experience in professional garden maintenance
- excellent customer communication and relationship building skills
- good working knowledge of gardens and their management
- able to operate within a team or on own initiative
- good plant knowledge
- experience of a variety of garden machinery
