residential conveyancer
Working hours
- full-time | Permanent
Responsibility
- to oversee the successful running of your Conveyancing team in order to provide a quality conveyancing service to the firm's clients
- check freehold, leasehold, shared ownership and unregistered titles
- ability to recognise complex issues
- to work towards the targets set by the Firm in relation to monthly billing
- to build upon and maintain good relationships with agents and other introducers
- acting on instruction of and reporting to Partners
- act in accordance with anti-money laundering regulations and quality procedures in accordance with the Office Manual
- ensure a high standard of file management and awareness of essential procedures
Requirements
- ideally be a qualified Solicitor or working towards qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer/Legal Executive
- at least 1 years’ experience working within a busy conveyancing team
- good standard of literacy, numeracy and attention to detail
- pleasant manner, flexible and co-operative
- good time management skills
- excellent client care
- flexibility in support of other members of staff
- be able to deal with all freehold, leasehold, shared ownership, sale, purchase, re-mortgage and transfer of equity transactions from initial instruction through to completion
