ground worker
Responsibility
- to undertake groundworks tasks at various sites as directed
- any other duties that may reasonably be requested by the Supervisor, Groundworker or Contracts Manager
- to follow all risk and COSHH assessments and instructions provided in tool box talks
- to undertake routine maintenance of tools and equipment, completing all relevant log sheets. To ensure that security protocols are followed to ensure that tools and equipment are stored securely and safely at all times when not in use
- to organise materials and equipment, tidy and maintain site depot as required
- to wear correct PPE for all tasks
Education
- educated to ‘O’ Level / GCSE or equivalent
- L2 General Construction Operative or equivalent qualification
- current CSCS card
- cat and Gennie
- full driving licence
- abrasive wheel trained
- dumper
- CPCS Excavator 360
Requirements
- practical experience of working on site
- knowledge of site based health and safety systems
- experienced in using range of hand tools
