Job Title : Area Sales ManagerReporting to : Managing DirectorJob Summary : A field based position covering London, Kent and Essex with responsibility for the sale of the company’s products to clients, existing and new within the territory described.Main Duties to:1. Undertake to achieve the Company’s sales targets.2. Develop customers and sales through direct to installer and consultant/specifier channels. End user framework arrangements are to be included in the sales process.3. Comply in timely fashion with all weekly and monthly reporting schedules.4. Attend exhibitions and organise road shows and seminars as directed.5. Work efficiently as part of the overall sales team.6. Carry out any other reasonable instructions as issued by the Company’s management.Applicant Criteria1. A self-motivated person who is results driven and used to a lengthy sales cycle.2. Experienced in consultative sales.3. Technical aptitude with the ability to demonstrate product.4. Able to effectively manage existing accounts as well as develop new business.5. Able to effectively plan and make own appointments.6. Live within the sales territory assigned to the area, preferably reasonably close the M25.7.
