Education

Responsibility
provide day to day client support helping clients use Verisk’s software platforms and understand Verisk’s catastrophe models and their output
provide training sessions to clients to help them understand and use Verisk software and models
be responsible, as the account manager, for allocated client’s overall support
the above may include leading project onboarding new clients to Verisk
communicate directly with clients to develop project timelines and manage deliverable expectations
help clients reliably assess and manage their catastrophe loss potential through interpretation of modelling results
perform sophisticated risk analyses using Verisk's cutting-edge technology for insurers, brokers, and other financial intermediaries in the internationally expanding business of catastrophe risk management including both natural catastrophe risk
add value to modelled results through customisation of output tailored to the needs of clients, assisting with bespoke SQL coding to query results
Requirements
strong analytical and quantitative skills, a solid understanding of probability concepts, excellent problem-solving skills and a commitment to client services
strong statistical skills and working knowledge of catastrophe modelling financial engines and the application of insurance and reinsurance terms
excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
ability to code in languages such as SQL, R and Python will be highly beneficial. Knowledge of ArcGIS would be desirable
knowledge of Touchstone and /or Touchstone Re is essential. 3+ years of catastrophe modelling experience, ideally in the London Market
