Responsibility
meeting with potential new customers on behalf of our brands

supporting the Executive Leadership team with their HR strategy, including engagement, culture and benefits evolution
support for the monthly payroll process from an HR perspective, liaising with internal Finance function and external payroll provider
ensuring the company remains compliant with employment law and industry best practice, driving policy and process updates as appropriate
provision of HR-related management information and risk escalation reports
onboarding of new joiners, including management of background checking processes, support for drafting and collating pre-employment documentation, set-up on internal systems, and communication with individuals and external providers with regards to benefits and pension
any other ad-hoc duties as required to support the Head Office team, our consultants or our clients
ongoing day-to-day HR activities, including ensuring HR systems are kept up to date, responding to employee queries, and support for the appraisal and compensation processes
Requirements
competent knowledge of UK background checking requirements and HR employment law
strong attention to detail; able to identify potential issues, problem solve and escalate appropriately
strong organisational skills and structured approach; ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
good written and verbal communication skills
proactive and flexible approach; seeks to identify how processes and controls could operate more efficiently
interest in building experience and knowledge in HR-related processes and policies
ideally 5 years’ experience in an HR Specialist/HR Generalist, or a similar role
ability to work independently and influence senior management
