Requirements
it is essential to hold a full UK drivers licence with no more than 3 penalty points
must be over the age of 25 and have been driving for over two years
essential to have experience of driving Sprinter-type vans and 3.5 tonne Luton vans
can transport furniture goods in a safe and responsible manner
is physically fit and prepared for heavy lifting
good knowledge of Derbyshire and Nottinghamshire geography to support route planning
basic Disclosure & Barring Service check will be undertaken by Valley CIDS on all Retail Van Drivers

ensure high levels of cleanliness are consistently maintained across the stock and the department
demonstrate competency using IT equipment on a daily basis
this role will include using devices and computers through the process of selection and distribution of sold items
ensure items are packed and dispatched in a timely fashion to deliver customer satisfaction working within weight and size restrictions for couriers
you will need to have the ability to learn bespoke software solutions and use these to effectively carry out this role
work with your manager to find effective and efficient storage and selection processes that allow for speed and accuracy when selecting and packing items
responsible for ensuring good housekeeping is adhered to within all communal areas, at all times, in accordance with our Health & Safety training and policy
