  • diagnosing and repairing faults on heavy plant machinery – both mechanical and electrical
  • diagnosing and repairing faults on heavy plant machinery
  • conducting regular servicing and maintenance checks
  • carrying out inspections and testing to ensure equipment is safe to use
  • identifying spare parts as necessary
  • wiring control panels, reading electrical diagrams
  • as a Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a variety of machinery including concrete mixers, concrete pumps, concrete batching plants and other heavy plant
