- ensure supported platforms and associated services are reliable and available 24/7/365 through performance monitoring, optimisation and tuning
- develop subject matter expertise for general configurations, implementations and operational requirements
- ensure platforms and services comply with regulatory and legal requirements like GDPR and NIS
- ensure platforms and services meet internal standards for licensing, build, maintenance and security configuration
- you'll undertake routine and non-routine general build, provisioning, support, maintenance, availability and the lifecycle management of systems management infrastructure and associated software technologies underpinning United Utilities current and future IT strategy
- services provided by the team include systems monitoring and alerting, software configuration management, host network segmentation platform, network time protocol appliances, source code management repositories and text search platforms
