Responsibility
- assist the Bar Manager in managing day-to-day bar operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and staff scheduling
- train and mentor bar staff, ensuring they deliver high-quality service and maintain a friendly and welcoming atmosphere
- collaborate with the Bar Manager to develop and implement new drink ideas and promotions
- monitor and maintain bar supplies, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, bar snacks, and glassware, and place orders as needed
- ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations and responsible alcohol service practices
- handle customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints in a professional and timely manner
- assist with the preparation and execution of special events, including private parties and themed nights
Requirements
- previous experience in a supervisory or management role in a bar or similar establishment
- in-depth knowledge of various alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
- strong leadership skills and the ability to motivate and develop a team
- excellent communication and customer service skills
- exceptional organizational and time management abilities
- ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- A passion for delivering a memorable guest experience and a genuine interest in the hospitality industry
- must be of legal drinking age and possess any necessary certifications required by local regulations
