Responsibility
- we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced IT Project Manager to join our friendly team
- demonstrate leadership by providing guidance, support and motivation to the various members and teams within the IT department
- establish relationships with UK and international members and partners to understand system requirements
- ensure that operational and system knowledge is disseminated through the IT team
- surveying, specifying, proposing, implementing, training, understanding and supporting Pall-Ex’s business systems and associated infrastructure
- remain aware of new IT developments in the area of logistics providing input and tactical direction to the business
- analysing management information and data to input findings into systems design, development and support
- ensuring that projects are implemented within time, budget and scope but where not possible these are highlighted and alternatives are proposed
Requirements
- previous experience in an IT Project Manager role
- previous experience in the logistics sector
- PRINCE2 and ITIL foundation certification
- project management
- highly organised and an excellent communicator
- confidence to problem solve and make decisions
