Responsibility
- prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- ensure all food items are prepared in accordance with food safety regulations
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, including equipment and utensils
- provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers, taking orders, and answering queries
- assist in managing inventory levels for food and beverage supplies
- collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods
- uphold the highest standards of quality in both product preparation and presentation
Requirements
- proven experience as a Barista or in a similar role is preferred but not essential
- strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during peak hours
- basic maths skills for handling cash transactions and calculating totals
- knowledge of food safety practices is essential to maintain hygiene standards
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- excellent communication skills with a friendly disposition towards customers
- A willingness to learn about different coffee varieties and preparation techniques
- flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as required
