- work with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that projects meet all requirements
Requirements
- bachelor's degree in civil engineering, structural engineering, or architectural engineering
- professional registration and membership in technical society
- strong technical skills in CAD software
- advanced knowledge of discipline codes and standards, commercial availability and cost of materials
- effort-hour estimating and staff forecasting
- experience working with architects, contractors, and other engineers
- managing and leading a large project
- excellent written and verbal communication skills
