- assist the head chef in overseeing the kitchen operations
- help in planning and creating menus
- prepare and cook dishes according to recipes and standards
- ensure food quality and presentation meets the restaurant's standards
- supervise and train kitchen staff
- monitor inventory and order supplies as needed
- maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment
