Requirements

  • fully qualified HGV mechanic
  • valid Class 2 HGV driving licence
  • proven experience in vehicle maintenance and repair, preferably within a commercial fleet environment
  • strong leadership and team management skills
  • excellent problem-solving and diagnostic abilities
  • good organisational and time-management skills
  • knowledge of health and safety regulations related to vehicle workshops
  • ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities

Responsibility

  • ensure all work complies with Health and Safety regulations and company policies
  • drive company vehicles as needed for operational purposes, including deliveries and vehicle inspection
  • supervise daily workshop operations, ensuring timely and effective maintenance and repairs of HGVs and MOT preparation
