Responsibility
- inspect vehicles to ensure they meet safety standards
- we are seeking an experienced MOT Tester with Class 4, 5 & 7 qualifications to join our team
- carry out MOT tests on vehicles in accordance with DVSA standards
- conduct emissions tests and diagnose faults
- identify and report any defects or issues with the vehicle that could affect its safety or roadworthiness
- test brakes, steering, and suspension systems
- other duties may require the servicing of vehicles
- complete all necessary paperwork accurately and in a timely manner
Requirements
- A valid MOT testing certificate for Class 4 & 7 vehicles, 5 light would be an advantage
- A valid MOT testing certificate for Class 4, 5 & 7 vehicles
- at least 1 years of experience in MOT testing
- at least 3 years of experience in MOT testing
- knowledge of current MOT testing regulations and procedures
- excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy in completing paperwork
- strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical customers
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
