supporting the HR Manager in the following tasks: liaising with recruitment agencies and arranging candidate interviews, managing the administrative aspects of the onboarding process for new starters including electronic and paper filing of documents, admin support in any disciplinary and grievance processes, generating KPI statistics such as sickness and absence levels, staff turnover levels etc
supporting the GM management team in the following tasks: administering and monitoring fleet tracking and fuel cards, monitoring staff hours, inputting work orders onto our database and filing work orders, taking phone messages

Requirements
to achieve this, sound administrative skills is a key part of this role
an appreciation for site Health and Safety is required and a tidy approach to the workplace is essential
there will be an occasional requirement to assist in the processing of inbound deliveries
reporting to the Workshop Manager, the role is predominantly focussed on repairing and servicing the fleet of light commercial vehicles , to keep our landscapers safely on the road
the ability to supply own tools would be advantageous
MOT prep and delivery is also part of the role, as is the maintenance and repair of the small fleet of trailers and tractors
forging strong working relationships and gaining the trust of colleagues is essential as damage reporting/root cause analysis and balancing workshop capacity, service and cost is a key focus for this role
must possess strong communication skills and be able to work alongside other mechanics, including horticultural machinery mechanic and workshop manager, assisting with heavier/complicated or urgent tasks
