- processing and QC of advanced laboratory testing
- to provide more training for both testing and calibration
- assist in processing Laboratory test results for relevant tests
- our client, a well established, hugely successful, marine survey company, is currently seeking a Senior Laboratory Technician to join their growing team, located in Great Yarmouth
- execute geotechnical laboratory testing programs
- this is a full time, permanent opportunity, working 37.5 hours per week
Requirements
- ability to become familiar with testing procedures and standards
- an A Level or higher in Geology or a science related subject
- previous experience running advanced tests in a geotechnical laboratory
- experience mentoring and overseeing the performance of Junior Technicians
- ability to work closely with others in a team environment
- communicates; in a clear, open and honest way and encourages constructive feedback
- high attention to detail, self motivated, and can show initiative
