Responsibility

  • working alongside the directors you will drive new business and sales, both wholesale and direct to businesses
  • you will ensure that sales are also delivered end to end, and that customer service is key
  • achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales objectives
  • working with the directors to ensure good understanding of the business. Management of door to door container shipping service
  • build a good working rapport with customers and understand their needs
  • alongside the directors implementing a stock management and customer relationship management system

Requirements

  • 5 years in sales
  • working in a sales environment for at least 5 years
  • experience of building and maintaining strong relationships with customers
  • knowledge of container logistics would be beneficial, though not essential
  • full UK driving license
  • excellent communication, time management skills and interpersonal skills
  • background of cold calling and prospecting new accounts is essential
  • experience in arranging meetings and travel schedule
