Responsibility

  • time to Care is a specialist provider of Supported Living Services across the North East
  • this may include swimming, shopping, days on the beach, horse riding etc
  • this is a very rewarding job role and can be full or part time
  • furthermore we offer a recruitment bonus of £400 to any member of staff who introduces us to a successful candidate
  • we offer 12/24 and 36hr contracts and the hours can often suit around school hours
  • candidates should be keen to work with clients with Learning Disabilities who may exhibit behaviours that challenge
  • candidates should be keen to work with clients with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Mental Health
  • whilst experience is an advantage, we are always happy to take on staff who are enthusiastic regardless of experience

Responsibility

  • working as part of a dedicated team to provide person-centred support to service users
  • enabling service users to lead full and active lives, respecting their freedom of choice, while assessing their needs
  • promoting safety and wellbeing by taking appropriate action to safeguard service users from harm or abuse
  • accurately reporting and recording any issues related to service users’ care and support in order to monitor their health and wellbeing
  • following Health & Safety regulations and taking responsibility for the safety and welfare of yourself and others
  • adhering to all company policies, procedures, and guidance
  • alongside support within the home, we also enable people to access and take part in their local communities
  • demonstrating commitment to our core values by treating everyone with dignity, respect, and compassion

Contract type

  • we offer flexible contracts of 12, 24, or 36 hours, with overtime opportunities available. Working patterns include a variety of options such as 6-hour shifts, 12-hour shifts, waking nights, day shifts, and 24-hour shifts
