Responsibility

  • operate as a member of the Warehouse team in the Pick–Pack areas, specifically the Merchandise Warehouse
  • process and pick orders with care and accuracy, package correctly and despatching on time in line with customer requirements
  • ensure all company property/equipment is used and maintained with due care and attention
  • ensure that stock and work areas are maintained in a clean, tidy and organised condition
  • assist with the organisation and stock rotation

Requirements

  • H.G.V. licence , with a minimum of one years’ experience preferred
  • H.G.V. licence is essential, with a minimum of one years experience
  • roll on, roll off would be an advantage
  • recognised certificate holder for Loading Shovel desirable, however training can be provided
  • walking floor experience preferred however training can be provided
  • walking Floor experience an advantage, however training can be provided
  • wagon and drag experience would be preferred, however training can be provided
  • current Drivers CPC

Responsibility

  • ensure that vehicles are driven safely whilst maintaining the condition of your vehicle when in use on the road
  • make sure that collections and deliveries are made in good time
  • good awareness of general vehicle maintenance as you will be expected to work well independently and report defects accurately where necessary
  • adhere to any site rules as supplied by the customer, to be smart of appearance, courteous and helpful to customers being an ambassador for the Timberpak and Egger brands at all times
  • ensure that all safety precautions are taken, that any vehicle or equipment is in good working order, and that tasks are conducted in a safe working manner

mechanical fitter

Requirements

  • NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
  • fabrication experience to include various welding techniques such as MIG, TIG and Arc
  • FLT Licence, however training can be provided
  • supervisory experience or experience of managing external contractors
  • knowledge of relevant Health and Safety Legislation
  • good communication skills
  • excellent attention to detail
  • well organised and efficient

Responsibility

  • ensure that all plant and equipment on site is maintained, providing recommendations for increasing plant efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • carry out any routine maintenance on any plant and equipment
  • manage any contract labour engaged in any maintenance activity on site
  • support the planning, installation and commissioning of any new equipment
  • liaise with the Operations Manager as to the condition of the mechanical and electrical equipment or related production problems.To provide recommendations for increasing plant efficiency and cost effectiveness
  • assist in the planning and alterations and development to any infrastructure on site
  • act as the first line of contact for repairs and maintenance work on site and arrange and monitor, in relation to quality, and safety
  • act as main point of contact to external service providers, as well as appointed building, maintenance and engineering contractors and industrial cleaners
