Responsibility

  • the ideal candidate will be career-minded, hardworking with a passion for food
  • head Chef
  • to arrive punctually for the start of your shift
  • to follow all Health & Safety & Hygiene regulations as set out in the HACCP manual
  • to be presentable and in a fit state to work
  • thorpe Farm Centr e has a fantastic opportunity for a Chef to join their busy kitchen team, working alongside the Head Chef
  • to report any faults or food standard issued to Head Chef or Management Team immediately
  • the Courtyard Restauran t at Thorpe Farm is at the centre of a development. It is relatively unique as it predominantly opens from 9.00am to 5.00pm seven days a week with no split shifts, however some function work may be required

Requirements

  • previous experience and exposure to a variety of menu styles
  • NVQ Level 2 in Professional Cookery or equivalent would be desirable
  • ability to work in a team
  • ability to take instruction
  • A calm and methodical manner
  • positive and ‘can do’ Attitude
  • knowledge of food preparation and food hygiene
  • to show a willingness to learn and to work at all times to the best of your ability
