Working hours

Responsibility

  • sous Chef
  • 4 days a week, mix of splits and long days
  • 38 to 45 hours per week
  • live in option available for right candidate
  • A strong knowledge of desserts is needed for the role
  • everything on our menus is made in house and our menus change weekly, so there's lots of room for input on the menus and specials
  • maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
  • train and supervise kitchen staff, ensuring that they adhere to proper food handling and safety procedures

Requirements

  • strong knowledge of culinary techniques, ingredients, and kitchen equipment
  • ability to lead and motivate a team of kitchen staff
  • excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • previous experience working in a restaurant kitchen, preferably as a sous chef or in a similar role
