Working hours

  • full-time | Contract

Responsibility

  • the position is offered on a full time basis of 37.5 hours per week
  • pharmacy technicians play an important role, complementing clinical pharmacists, community pharmacists and other members of the PCN multi-disciplinary team
  • come to work in a beautiful part of West Yorkshire and join our growing team of dedicated professionals working with our partners to improve the health of our local population
  • the Valleys Primary Care Network is looking for a full time Pharmacy Technician as part of the developing Additional Roles Scheme to complement our existing PCN Pharmacists and wider PCN multidisciplinary team
  • the post would be for 12 months maternity cover on a fixed term contract, there may be the opportunity to join the team on a permanent basis at the end of the fixed term contract
  • this will involve assisting the PCN in achieving national requirements, NICE implementation and utilisation of medicines optimisation initiatives
  • clinical Pharmacy in General Practice is part of a programme of transformation to develop a new model of care which addresses our ambition to deliver person-centred, coordinated care across the district
