- oversee all aspects of the kitchen and food preparation in chefs absence
- help Create and develop innovative and delicious menu items
- ensure that all food is prepared to the highest quality standards
- manage inventory and control food costs
- we are looking for an exceptional Sous Chef for our kitchen at our brand newly refurbished Stroud Hotel , with an 80 cover dining space , 60 cover private dining room our chef team will be given a brand new fully fitted commercial kitchen to create a truly stunning menu
- train and supervise kitchen staff
- we are looking for a Sous chef who can demonstrate exceptional skills , who has a passion for cooking and is not scared of a challenge
Requirements
- extensive culinary experience, preferably as a Head Chef or in a similar role
- eadership and management skills
- excellent knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- ability to execute creative and unique menu items
- strong organizational and time management skills
- ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
