Responsibility

  • we are recruiting for a Rota Administrator to join our busy administrative team at the Ridings Medical Group
  • to ensure clinical staff are engaged with the creation of their clinical rotas
  • you will be working as part of the access team to ensure rotas are applied and kept up to date
  • you will also need the ability to work under your own initiative and organise your workload
  • to ensure that staff are given scheduled lunch breaks and rotas are in line with their contractual working hours
  • identifying actions, follow up, relevant information and clinical information for clinical coding

  • § Book patients into the acute care home slot on none ward round days, if it can’t wait until the next ward round
  • to action all aligned batch reports weekly
  • § Action any ward round requests that are admin related and do not require clinical input i.e., chasing a referral
  • § Contacting the patient on behalf of the GPs guidance regarding medication changes
  • § Ensuring all vaccinators and admin have completed all required training before each phase

  • you will also be expected to carry out any reasonable duties which may be requested from time-to-time
  • ensure 1, 2 and 3 month reviews are completed for all new staff
