- we have a vacancy for the position of a Machine Operative to join us at The Portland Dyeing Company
- an exciting opportunity has arisen at our small family ran business in Leek, Staffordshire
- to work in all departments
- we are a Textile Company and we specialise in the dyeing and finishing of all woven and knitted fabrics
- to operate various industrial machinery
- we are a long standing, family ran business
- you will be working with a small team to ensure the production of goods is of the upmost quality
- packing and unpacking rolls and bales of fabric
Education
- GCSE or equivalent
Requirements
- ensuring good quality work

- ability to communicate at all levels
- ability to work on own initiative or as part of a team, and work to deadlines
- ensure that duties are carried out to the best of your ability
- routine inspections, and close attention to detail
