Responsibility
- coordinate sales activity to maximise revenue from existing and new accounts at the hotel
- conduct market research to identify customer needs and preferences
- maintain up-to-date knowledge of Local & national businesses and develop relationships to drive business in all segments
- processing, distribution, and recording/filing and following up of all sales correspondence, revisiting current processes in place i.e., contracts, quotations, confirmations etc
- designing marketing collateral such as posters, flyers, hospitality brochures, newsletters, and mail shots
- collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure consistent brand messaging and positioning
- in collaboration with Directors, develop and implement the hotel sales & marketing strategy – from ideation to campaign planning to execution and debrief – this role will cover every aspect of marketing
- ensure brand identities are reflected and represented appropriately in all activity and highlight areas where improvements can be made
Requirements
- an experienced sales and marketing professional, ideally from a luxury hotel background
- experienced in working with digital design and relevant third parties
- understanding of AI-enhanced marketing and curiosity to exploit its benefits
- confident, driven, passionate, and proactive with a hands-on approach
- creative thinking with the ability to develop innovative marketing ideas
- customer service focused with ability to relate well to all hotel guests and employees
- personable, highly empathetic, self-motivated, and able to work independently
- excellent communication and the ability to work well with others in a team
