Responsibility
- maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen and food preparation areas
- wash, dry, and store kitchen utensils, pots, pans, and dishes efficiently
- assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as required
- ensure that all kitchen equipment is cleaned and maintained according to health and safety standards
- help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste
- support the culinary team during busy service periods by providing assistance as needed
- adhere to all health and safety regulations within the kitchen environment
Requirements
- previous experience in a hotel or restaurant kitchen is desirable but not essential
- A keen interest in food preparation
- strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- excellent teamwork skills and a positive attitude towards helping others
- flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
