lead on the production of TMT’s statutory Annual Accounts, ensuring compliance with the Charities SORP and all relevant accounting standards and maintain appropriate records for the external auditors
lead on the co-ordination of the annual Budget process and production of monthly and annual budgets and forecasts
oversee the preparation of the monthly management accounts, P&L and Balance Sheet, and other ad-hoc financial reports and analysis
quarterly review of VAT returns and the development of improved VAT accounting procedures with a view to maximise input tax recovery – including the partial exemption and annual adjustment calculations
the post-holder will be expected to keep abreast of developments by appropriate reading, attending seminars and training courses, and keep up to date with various legislation regarding accounting standards, taxation etc
