the post holder will complete maintenance and refurbishment work, mostly of a decorative nature, although at times work with associated trades as necessary
rate of Pay: £13.20 per hour
hours of Work: 37 hours per week

the Lodge is HICA’s flagship purpose-built service for high-end dementia care in our 96-bed specialised nursing home
set within our Buckshaw Retirement Village, between the M6 and M61, it’s in close proximity to Chorley
together with this, you will receive full training on our electronic medication and electronic care planning systems
the Lodge is separated into 5 communities between 15 to 25 beds that cater for the individual needs and behaviours of our residents
our nursing teams will also enjoy opportunities to undertaking external training accredited through universities to help towards CPD and revalidation
courses can include advanced clinical skills, wound care, NEWS 2, palliative care and end of life
at the heart of our home is the Market Square – a buzzing and multi-functional hub that hosts a varied programme of activities to suit our residents, whether it’s enjoying the cinema room, playing on a piano, baking in the kitchen, enjoying tea and cake in the café or taking part in other organised activities
led by a highly experienced and person-centred Registered Manager, The Lodge has 2 full-time Deputy Managers with each community headed by nurses, a Team Manager and Team Leaders who work collaboratively to lead the shift

good administration/IT skills to accurately record information and make sure records are kept up-to-date on our electronic care plan system
applicants should preferably be confident with venipuncture and catheterisation; full training can be provided if required
together with this, you will receive full training on our electronic medication and electronic care planning systems
