- the Leafy Elephant is a Gin and Cocktail Bar set in the heart of Wokingham town centre
- opening and closing of the venue
- stock ordering and taking in deliveries out of hours
- rotas / calendars
- management of the existing bar team including providing ongoing training
- with over 200 gins and an award winning cocktail menu, we pride ourselves on being specialist mixologists giving our customers a great experience both with the quality of drinks and level of service
- general running of the site ensuring smooth operation, cleanliness, high work standards and high customer satisfaction at all times
Requirements
- strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team
- excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- knowledge of bartending techniques, drink recipes, and mixology
- familiarity with food production processes and catering operations
- ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- attention to detail to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction
- proficient in using bar management software or POS systems
- understanding of health and safety regulations related to food and beverage service
