The Eco Roof and Wall Company ltd - Nottingham Hours: 40+ per week Day: 5-6 per week Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum Duration: PermanentWe now have an exciting opportunity for an Contracts Manager to join our team.Operating in the east/west midlands, the position involves overseeing in house and subcontracter insulation fitting teams, carrying out site inspections, assessing quality of work in person, Ordering materials, answering calls, arranging the fitting diary and some general admin. A van/car, car, fuel card, uniform, phone and computer will be provided.The position would suit an experienced contracts manager with a wealth of experience in most trades, renewables and insulation experience would be an advantage.Key Responsibilities:Lead in all aspects of safety Ensure all operatives on site are trained and have CSCS cards Complete inductions for any new contractor on site Ensuring method statements risk assessments are in place and approved prior to commencement of any works. Ensure all works undertaken on site, are done so in a safe manner. Carrying out health & safety tours weekly. Ensure contractors health and safety paperwork is up to date and filed weekly . Assessment of installation and testing periods. Quality Control – preparation of Quality Control files and documentation, ensure snagging, witnessing and area handovers are completed on time and with paperwork presented, signed off and maintained for handover. Generally maintaining all quality control measures to ensure ‘right first time’ principals. Providing weekly progress updates, on quality, programme and risk issues. Ensure areas are clean and tidy at all times Ensure that all Plant & Equipment is protected at all times to a very high standard.
