Responsibility
- chair side assistance along with the dentist and therapist, ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained at all times
- prepare clinic appropriately & sterilise dental instruments and equipment
- record patient's dental condition and treatment as required using computer software
- ensure confidentiality is maintained at all times
- be familiar and comply with all health and safety rules including PPE, COSHH, Infection control and waste disposal
- attend and complete training in line with the GDC registration requirements
- attending and participation in practice meetings
- participate in the annual appraisal process and the development and implementation of activities identified on the personal development plan
Requirements
- the ideal candidate should be well presented, have a warm and friendly nature
- team work and excellent communication skills are essential as well as being able to work off your own initiative
- qualified nurses will need to provide Qualification & GDC Certificate
- trainee Dental Nurse – training will be given
- you must be flexible to work Saturdays and some evening
- dental assisting: 1 year
- dental Nursing: 1 year
