Responsibility

  • located just North of the town in Bedford, The Pheasant has recently benefited from a transformational refurbishment with cosy seating nooks and a glorious terrace at the front
  • the Pheasant is what you might call a ‘proper pub’ serving a selection of real ales and craft beers, including the latest brews from down the road at Brewpoint
  • ensure that company policies and procedures are followed by checking Food Safety and Health & Safety daily and Business Due Diligence on a weekly basis
  • complete daily and weekly stock checks and ensure that all invoices are processed daily and accounted for

Requirements

  • cooking: 3 years

  • strong culinary skills with a passion for creating delicious and innovative dishes
  • excellent leadership and team management skills

  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A relevant culinary qualification is desirable
