- the Role is to provide comprehensive medical secretarial support to the GPs, Partners Management Team, Nurses and Admin/Receptionists
- the main duties and responsibilities are
Show more +5 - maintenance of appropriate system for the monitoring of payments invoiced and received for non NHS services
- with strong background in training and development of experienced primary care workforce, we are seeking a Medical Secretary who is eager to make a difference in and to our Maidstone Practice
- to process referrals ensuring that they are logged, that associated forms are completed, that referrals are taken to the clinical meetings and that referral letters are sent keeping to deadlines
- recording of incoming and outgoing insurance reports requests ensuring that they are logged and allocated to the doctors for completion and also ensuring that payments are chased/received
- keeping referral letters on to patients’ records if required and Photocopying of medical records when requested by insurance companies, solicitors or Doctors
Requirements
- medical Receptionist: 1 year
- gp Surgery: 1 year
- admin and customer service: 1 year
