Working hours

Responsibility

  • welcome and serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner
  • take and process orders accurately and promptly
  • prepare and serve drinks and snacks to customers
  • maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the bar area
  • follow health and safety procedures and ensure compliance with licensing laws
  • build and maintain relationships with customers to promote repeat business
  • handle cash and card payments using a cash register or card reader

Requirements

  • previous experience as Bar Staff or similar role is desirable
  • excellent customer service and communication skills
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks
  • good knowledge of drinks and beer pouring
  • basic math and cash handling skills
  • available to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • MUST be over 18

bar supervisor

Responsibility

  • ensure smooth running of all bar operations in the absence of the Catering and Hospitality Manager
  • ensure weekly/daily checklists are completed by bar staff
  • ensure all of the bar team adhere to systems and procedures as outlined in the standards of procedures manual
  • ensure all stock is rotated and stored in a safe manner
  • ensure all bars are prepared for set up in advance of each shift and in accordance with relevant standards of procedure
  • ensure that all staff arrive to work on time and in correct uniform and name badge as per weekly rota
  • develop, train and coach bar staff to the standards required in accordance with the standards of procedures manual

Requirements

  • at least 1 years full time experience in a similar position
  • experience working with standard operating procedures and updating where necessary
  • be able to demonstrate taking initiative and supervising others
  • very experienced in dealing with high volume and fast paced working environments
  • individuals must have flexibility in their approach, the ability to adapt to last minute changes and be extremely customer focused
  • shift work and flexibility is required in this position
  • supervising experience: 1 year
  • hospitality: 2 years
