Responsibility
- manage accounts payable processes and ensure timely and accurate payment of invoices
- review and reconcile vendor statements, resolving any discrepancies
- manage sales & purchase ledgers, and assist with month-end closing procedures, including journal entries and account reconciliations
- support the preparation of year end financial reports and statements
- credit control - allocate receipts, send monthly statements to owners, deal with queries
- banking - process BACS payments as required, monthly supplier payments
- maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records
- prepare and process expense reports
Requirements
- proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- proficient in using SAGE 50 accounting software
- strong working knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements, and accounting systems
- strong attention to detail and accuracy
- excellent organizational and time management skills
- strong communication and interpersonal skills
- ability to work independently and as part of a team
