housing officer
Responsibility
as a Housing Officer within The Aldingbourne Trust, you will be responsible for supporting our clients who live independently within Bognor and surrounding areas, with all aspects of Housing and Property Management
you will be the first point of contact for new and existing tenants to ensure they have suitable, well maintained properties, encourage good relationships with their neighbours, as well as meeting all of the terms of their tenancy conditions
this role plays an important part in supporting people with autism, learning disabilities and/or mental health needs to live the lives they choose safely, while developing their own independence
this will involve working with a range of landlords, identifying and arranging maintenance of properties, supporting people to access good housing through the statutory and private sector
you are expected to be aware of and meet best practice in housing management, including maintenance, supporting tenants who may have additional support needs due to their learning disabilities and/or mental health
you will work as part of a team with support staff, tenants, and landlords, to ensure people have settled, safe, well-maintained homes. The job is a mixture of office based and property visits across Bognor Regis and surrounding area
this is a fix-term 12 month contact, part-time 25 hours a week, offering flexible hours to suit the role and clients needs

assist in the planning, budgeting, and purchasing operations in consultation with Hospitality Services Manager
ensure supplies, equipment and work areas conform to required standards and guidelines to maintain 5* Food Standards rating
working within a team of 10 including 2 others Chefs / Cooks, you will assist the Hospitality Services Manager, Supervisor and deputise in their absence to organise, plan, and lead the front of house, cooking and conference teams to provide and maintain the highest of hospitality and conference service standard
ensure environment associated with hospitality is at appropriate standard e.g. seating, patio areas, wash/toilet facilities
work with the Hospitality Services Manager to develop and monitor the range of hospitality provisions to meet Trust objectives and customer requirements
to lead by example, offering excellent levels of service and professionalism at all times, serving and assisting customers in an engaging, polite and warm manner
to be mindful of the need to safeguard the Health and Safety of all staff, trainees, volunteers, visitors and others on site
to ensure that all machinery and equipment is in safe working order regarding the observance of safety regulations and safety procedures under the Health & Safety at Work Act, taking appropriate action, reporting any defects to the line manager
