Responsibility

  • work to ensure that the young people are involved as fully as possible in decisions affecting them and developing independence skills
  • ensure a supportive environment within the units, and to assist in the writing, implementation, and revision of individual independence plans
  • ensure that necessary liaison and communication takes place within the units and outside with families, other agencies, and the local community
  • assist and support the Service Manager in the administration and orderly running of units
  • assist the Service Manager in the management of TSS, homes including allocation of duties and responsibilities, staff deployment and day-to-day supervision and oversight
  • be responsible for the guidance and support of the staff including necessary assistance with their professional development, and advice to the Service Manager in respect of formal assessments
  • ideal Candidate will possess, Experience of working in supported accommodation or working with
  • ensure that support to young people is provided within an environment, which positively integrates race, gender, disability and sexual orientation and meets individual needs
