Responsibility

  • fabricate and assemble structures using power tools and hand tools
  • perform carpentry work including framing, roofing, and installing fixtures
  • carry out masonry tasks including bricklaying and concrete work
  • paint surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish
  • we are seeking a skilled Builder /Carpenter to join our team in constructing and renovating commercial properties

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Builder or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • proficiency in using a variety of power tools and hand tools
  • strong knowledge of carpentry, electrical work, masonry, and plumbing techniques
  • ability to work independently or as part of a team to complete projects efficiently
  • joinery: 1 year
  • carpentry: 1 year

Responsibility

  • install plasterboard to walls and ceilings, ensuring alignment and secure fixing
  • interpret and work from schematics and technical drawings to construct internal wall systems
  • fabricate necessary components for wall installations, including cutting and shaping materials as required
  • perform plastering tasks to achieve smooth finishes on walls and ceilings
  • conduct painting duties as needed to complete the finishing touches on projects
  • collaborate with other trades such as electricians, carpenters, and masons to ensure seamless project execution
  • maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
  • assist in roof installations when required, demonstrating versatility across different construction tasks

Requirements

  • proven experience as a Dry Liner or in a similar role within the construction industry
  • strong understanding of building methods, materials, and tools related to dry lining work
  • ability to read and interpret schematics accurately
  • skills in plastering, painting, masonry, welding, or carpentry are advantageous
  • excellent attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship
  • strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team setting
  • A valid CSCS card is preferred but not essential
