About The Role Here at TAC Healthcare, we are expanding our teams and we have a requirement for an Endoscopy Registered Nurse with experience in an Endoscopy setting. You will deliver Endoscopy services to the highest standards, using a model of care that recognises the psychological, physical and social needs of our patients. What you’ll do: Provide assistance pre/during/post diagnostic and therapeutic procedures. Assess, plan, develop, implement and evaluate programmes of care for patients to ensure delivery of a high standard of care. Support the senior clinical team, demonstrate procedures to and supervise registered and/or unregistered staff. Participate in the decontamination, traceability and care of endoscopes and other specialised equipment used within the endoscopy unit. Calculating drug dosages and administering medicine Maintain effective communications with patients, relatives and other members of the multidisciplinary team. Stock management, escalating any issues, and utilising the resources efficiently. May be required to lift, move and handle heavy loads as well as assist mobile and immobile patients. About you: Experienced Endoscopy Registered Nurse with active NMC pin number. A team player who is supportive, reliable and trustworthy, who gets stuck in and creates a positive atmosphere.
