Responsibility
- safely operate a minibus to transport children with SEND between home and school
- ensure the wellbeing, comfort, and safety of all passengers during the journey
- work collaboratively with Passenger Assistants, parents, and school staff
- carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
- respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents during transport
- maintain accurate records as required
Requirements
- enhanced DBS Check – current or willing to obtain
- miDAS Training – completed or willing to undertake
- minimum 3 years of driving experience – preferably with passenger vehicles
- clean and valid UK driving licence
- good communication and interpersonal skills
- commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
