Responsibility

  • safely operate a minibus to transport children with SEND between home and school
  • ensure the wellbeing, comfort, and safety of all passengers during the journey
  • work collaboratively with Passenger Assistants, parents, and school staff
  • carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
  • respond appropriately to emergencies or incidents during transport
  • maintain accurate records as required

Requirements

  • enhanced DBS Check – current or willing to obtain
  • miDAS Training – completed or willing to undertake
  • minimum 3 years of driving experience – preferably with passenger vehicles
  • clean and valid UK driving licence
  • good communication and interpersonal skills
  • commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
