SUPPORT AND SUSTAIN CARE is looking for employees for positions:

- to work towards career progression and complete the Level 4 in Children and Young People
- to work alongside the manager, deputy and senior management team and to hold yourself in a professional way during meetings
- demonstrate written communication skills, sufficient to contribute to a record keeping system
- to be able to demonstrate a warm, child centred and affirmative approach to children
- lead and delegate appropriately when on shifts
- administer medication in line with our procedures
- hold a Driving Licence
- candidate working towards or hold Level 3 in Children & Young People Workforce or level 4 family practitioner
- candidates either hold Level 3 in Children & Young People Workforce or willing to complete this vital
- hold Level 3 residential childcare / Level 4 family practitioner or working towards or willing to work towards
- an enhanced DBS certificate will be required upon appointment
- have an understanding of the Children’s Home Regulations and legislations
- be able to demonstrate a warm, person centred and affirmative approach to children and young people
- demonstrate written communication skills, sufficient to contribute to a record keeping system
- to be able to demonstrate a warm, child centred and affirmative approach to children
- lead and delegate appropriately when on shifts and take the role of management in the absence of the home’s Manager
- administer medication in line with our procedures
- complete regular staff supervision
- demonstrate written communication skills, sufficient to contribute to a digital record keeping system
- key work and be involved in liaising with social workers and other agencies
- hold a Driving Licence
- have an understanding of the Children’s Home Regulations and legislations
- candidate must hold Level 3 in Children & Young People Workforce and have a willingness to complete Level 5 in Leadership and Management
